Simon’s role as AV Manager at IE Production Services includes overseeing our purchasing, warehousing and maintenance of our kit.

We worked alongside IE in conjunction with Liverpool’s Threshold Festival 2017 Main Stage and couldn’t speak more highly of them! Heaps of quality equipment hauled in without bother and the team knew exactly what they were doing throughout.
Organising the main stage of any festival can be stressful but the IE staff made sure to make the whole process an easy and professional experience. For some finer details of the event, I was pointed in the direction of Simon. Willing to take on board any requests from myself or the performers, Si made sure to answer these demands with the best solution possible whether it be switching kit, recording live, stage management; along with the whole IE team, helping with whatever possible.
Happy to say the musicians, promoters, visual artists, staff and audience were all rewarded with great tech from IE.
We first worked with IE when they sound engineered at an event Candidate 23 were playing at. Candidate 23 has a more complicated setup than most bands and IE took it all in their stride. They listened to what we needed and went out of their way to ensure the band was given everything they required. Over the following weeks they engineered at several other events we were at and the relationship between us grew. They are now our first choice AV Hire company for any gigs that we put on ourselves.
As a manager, I am able to leave all of our sound requirements in the very capable hands of their technicians. They liaise with the venues in advance ensuring that there are no surprises on the day for either the band or the venue and are on hand during setup to help out.
IE are also very active at getting involved in our production meetings, offering advice and improvements and simply bringing new and fresh ideas to the table. They have proved they are now a fully integrated, invaluable part of our team and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any artist or event.
